The Silhouette Solution
by Dr. David Macallan
There’s an epidemic of overweight and obesity in this country, and it’s no surprise. Most of the food people eat is not matched to the body’s needs. The body’s systems are set up to work in very specific ways, and wrongly calibrated foods throw those systems completely out of kilter. This is one of the reasons so many people who lose weight pack it all back on again. It’s just the way things are set up. And the good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way. Using a simple, easy-to-read, entertaining series of conversations between a set of adult twins who experienced, then solved their own weight problems, Dr. Macallan simplifies complex physiological issues into a simple story, with take-home points anyone can remember.
Remember this story and you’ll know what to do.
1. How numerous food companies’ products keep you fat.
2. How a publicly declared goal produces big weight loss results.
3. Why most “diet programs” fail long term.
4. How carefully calibrated, easy-to-prepare foods are key.
5. How three weight loss enhancers maximize your results.
6. How to maintain your ideal weight once you reach your goal — stay slim and healthy for life!
